A soft reset is similar to restarting a computer. If your Treo is not responding or you have trouble synchronizing with your computer, a Soft Reset may help.

Soft Resets usually do not affect your personal data on your device, unless your battery is extremely low. If you see battery warnings, change or charge your batteries immediately, even if there is an error message on the screen.

A Soft Reset is the most useful trick in your toolbox for fixing a variety of issues.

• Unscrew the stylus tip to access the reset tool

• Use the reset tool to gently press the reset button on the back of your Treo

Note: On the Treo 650, the reset button will be under the battery casing
